Introduction from the Chairman
May I take this opportunity to welcome you to the Invicta Kent Carnival Association website, and to inform you about us and the concept of Miss Invicta Kent.
The Court consists of young ladies who wish to represent their County. The Invicta Kent Court 2009 consists of a Queen, a Junior Queen, Two Senior Princesses, and a Deputy Queen.
The Association is a member of the National Carnival Guild, and the Association of Kent Carnival Organizations, and has a float to enable the court to take part in carnivals and other functions, in Kent, Sussex, Essex, London, Warwickshire, and beyond.
The Invicta Carnival Association holds an end of season Ball in January of each year. At this function we award trophies and certificates for:
Belle of the Ball
Court of the year (Snr & Jnr)
Queen of Queens (Snr & Jnr)
Princess of Princesses (Snr & Jnr)
Princess Pairs (Snr & Jnr)
Rosebud.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Carnival Associations who have helped and support the Invicta Kent Carnival Association.
