Introduction from the Chairman

May I take this opportunity to welcome you to the Invicta Kent Carnival Association website, and to inform you about us and the concept of Miss Invicta Kent.

The Court consists of young ladies who wish to represent their County. The Invicta Kent Court 2008 consists of a Queen, a Junior Queen, two Senior Princesses, and one Junior Princess. To qualify to be a member of the Invicta Kent Court 2009, you must not be holding any other sash at the time of the Miss Invicta Kent selection, apart from a Deputy sash which is acceptable. You must be between 14 & 22 years of age to enter for Miss Invicta Kent.                                                                     

The Association is a member of the National Carnival Guild, and has a float to enable the court to take part in carnivals and other functions, in Kent, Sussex, Essex, London, Warwickshire, and beyond. 

  The Invicta Carnival Association holds an end of season Ball in January of each year.  At this function we award trophies and certificates for:
Court of the year (Snr & Jnr)
Queen of Queens (Snr & Jnr)
Princess Pairs (Snr & Jnr)
Princess of Princesses (Snr & Jnr)
Rosebud  

All of the above will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.  

 I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Carnival Associations who have helped and support the Invicta Kent Carnival Association.
